I’m alive and loving it =)
Taking a week of blogging was the best thing I could have done. I love stepping back and looking at things from a distance and re-prioritizing now an then. From this perspective it’s easier to give my self a pep talk, and get-real.
Lots of great things happening…
I re-prioritized, simplified, and relaxed.
I enjoyed it so much, and got so much done, I’m going to keep doing it =)
I’m making healthy choices & exercising every day. (Even if it’s only a 5-10 min HITT bike ride and random sit ups.)
I used a free 2 night vacation package and booked 2 nights in Oceanside for May =) If it’s healthy for our finances I’ll, add on a few more nights, and flight. If not we’ll have a good-old road trip, and keep the vacation under $500.
I started doing some stability exercises to help with jumping up on a floating board in water. Still nothing like the real thing but core strengthening will help either way.
I tested out a new program for simplifying finances.
I enjoyed sunshine and fresh air.
I also enjoyed adding cottage cheese to an omelet one morning.
I fixed the high pitch squealing noise in the shower with a plumber for under $75 (that never happens).
I spent more time being active, and present every day & helped my youngest learn how to walk =)
I spent a day at a free dinosaur museum, and a day at my Grandparents.
I spent a day on me and actually saved my legs. I’m sure there are other women out there who struggle with this one when it’s freezing and your wearing jeans/pants 24/7?
I missed reading all of your posts, and either getting incredibly inspired, motivated, or hungry =)
From here…
Until the trip (May) I need to step up my activity level and blogging 2 hours a day won’t work. I’ll be doing weekly updates, or more when I just can’t wait to share, and doing my best to stay up to date on all of you. You have all supported me this far, and I want to make sure I can be there to support you as well.
I knew I could reach my goal, I just didn’t know how amazing it would be. There is lots more to learn, and I’m not all the way there yet. I‘m not quite sure if there is a “there“. I‘m just enjoying the journey!
