    BFL Challenge:
The hubby suggested we enter the last round of this years BFL challenge. The master champ male and female get 25,000 and the champs for each category get 10,000 and each get a home gym. Pretty motivating. What’s more motivating is having a set 12 weeks to reach a goal and feel amazing. I’m excited. I wasn’t kidding about being more fit the next time i hit the waves, or being able to do all the fun activities i want. Honestly it’s not about the body, and never has been, but it is always nice when my clothes look great even when I’m not dressed up.

The deadline is September 3rd i believe. Were starting in 1 week from today so wish us luck. It’s going to be hard, grueling and some time probably more then once I’m going to want to quit and come up with some good excuse why it’s not important healthy good for me or worth it. But I’m going to complete all 12 weeks and give it my all and archive my dreams.

As part of this i am going to make this a permanent lifestyle change. Not the 12 week program but the healthy eating consistent exercising. Start a new life. Start living my life to it’s fullest and achieve all the things i’ve been holding back.

Can you tell I’m a little excited. I’m working hard this week to prep for the challenge to created doable meal plans and schedule workouts. It will be fun… Seriously, who says that? I do, but I’m an athlete and this sort of thing is right up my alley.

    Splash Park Photos:

For something a little less serious but fun. Here are some photos of my boys at the splash park. I switched the camera to the fast shutter because they run so fast but it made some pretty cool effects on the water.

Happy Monday!  I usually don’t feel that way.  I must be comming out of my Funk.  The sun is shinning..oh wait it rained all day today.  I really must be feeling better =)  Oh, just got word that my bother in-law found a job.  Everything is starting to look up…or maybe i’m just looking up more…who knows.  Happy Monday!

I love soccer. The jogging stroller is still on the fritz. So i decided to not let that stop me. I used a basic stroller tossed some soccer balls in the back and had the 3 year old run along side me. We played soccer for a while at the school then played at the park.

It seems that most of the other kids are boys…ration 8:1 maybe they just need to climb on things more..who knows.

I meet Bethany who just moved here from Las Vegas. Very nice and also has 3 boys and her last on it’s way. It felt good to get out and actually be social. Although i love marching to the beat of my own drum it’s nice to meet new people now and then.

Hubby’s gone rafting with his work (nice job eh…jealous). I’m going to have fun being extra active…and because i am then I’ll enjoy some nice treat…and only my absolute favorites… Chocolate covered strawberries rolled in coconut. Oh yea it’s that good.  Here have some.

    Yummy

Mean i know.  If i knew how, i would send each of my readers a few.  Wait how is this going to help anyone get fit…LOL!  I figure if your going to eat unhealthy every once in a while that’s fine, especially with these.  Loaded with calories but at least they’re not completely empty calories.  Antioxidants from the chocolate, and strawberry, and healthy fats from the coconut…so they’re healthy right? =)

When the Boyz wake up from naps we will hit the water park. It’s mid-high 90’s this week.  A little bit cooler then usual but I want to get in as much water fun as i can for these boys…and for me.

    Happy Friday!!!

What is your absolute favorite thing to eat?

Even thou i love being active i also love slowing down and savoring the moment…flavor, smell ect. Even when I’m out in the ocean i can slow down and just breath in the beautiful beach or smell the fresh ocean..feel the breeze ect…

Update: My jogging stroller has a flat and after $6 of slime i found out i don’t have a pump that works…just a soccer pump which doesn’t work with the valve. It’s been perfect outdoor weather and i’ve been dying to get out. I’ve decided that i need to just get active either way and keep biking so my knee doesn’t get back out of whack.

I’m putting mountain bikes at the top of my “when i pay off the next debt” list. A little pricey but I’ll find a good deal. When I had my first kid I sold my bike…along with my house, car, and more just so i could stay home and not send my kid to day care. If it came down to it i would do that, but not by choice. I feel lucky to have kids. Some people try their whole lives and I’m very grateful for what i have…anyhow.

Man I’m on tangents lately. Well, it’s off to put the kids down and do some cardio.

How do you enjoy your quality time, or what is something your grateful for?

Pictures show it all.  I love traveling, outdoors, and art.  Time to start saving up for next summer.  River rafting fell thru…sitter fell thru.  Such is life.  I’ve had way to much fun this summer and will plan ahead for next year.

Coming up…Rock climbing, skiing (possibly snow boarding), and more fun activities with the boys like soccer, hiking, swimming ect.  I have a passion for the outdoors, travel, and art.  Took me a while to figure out what makes me tick…you know how i have fun.

What makes you tick, or how do you have fun?

OK! I didn’t grab a water proof camera so the only photos i got were on the beach.  Sorry.  Next time i will be prepared.

    Surfing

Yes this was my first time in a wet suit.  Not to comfortable but sure helps with the cold water.

Surfing moreAhhhhh.  Just the feeling of sand in my toes.  It had been way too long (5 years).  This is at LaJolla Beach.  Beautiful fun relaxing, and other than the surf lesson free.  I love that all parking (except hotel parking) is free in SanDiego.  I’m use to Santa Monica and the $5+ parking ect…  This was great.  I am honestly going thru withdrawals.  This was a great day and one I will make happen again as soon as possible.

Time to get finacially fit so i can afford to do more fun stuff like this all the time.

Time to get in even better shape so i can play for mor then an hour with out getting wasted.  Thanks for everyones support.  This aint over yet.  I’ve lots more surfing to to, fitness to learn, and life to live.  Love you all.

I dropped of my film last week to be developed and put on a CD. I should be able to pick them up today if all went well.

Staying plenty active finally unpacking some boxes, re-packing some for long term storage in our garage, and living on the third floor that’s plenty of exercise. My shins actually hurt from yesterday. You know the hurt so good from getting a ton of “to do” off the list.

After working hard yesterday i took the boyz down to the water park and enjoyed plenty of sun.

Today i used two of the empty boxes and made space ships for the boys. They were in heaven. I even cut a hole in one of the flaps and stuck a lid in it so they could steer. 10min = 2 hours of time to finish up some more To-Do’s.

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the summer.
