I seem to have more time to blog, even thou i’ve been outside a lot, once i get in, feet up, water, and relax.

The boys got to go horse back ridding last night, then on a wagon ride. It was all part of Dan’s work party. It was at a local ranch, and it was beautiful. Just laid back but very nice. They had all sorts of thoughtful things for the kids. When it got dark they started a big fire, and had smores, and then glow sticks for the kids to run around with.

Today while Dan took a much needed nap, I took the kids to the park. We had it all to ourselves. I got to sit in the shade, on the grass, with my bare feet and just watch them explore. They took of on their space ship (playground) and went all over the universe. It was quiet, peaceful, fresh air. Just perfect. Very therapeutic.

With all the false alarms and early labor stuff with this little girl i’ve been a little…unrelaxed is the best way to put it. This afternoon at the park by myself was perfect. Taking the time to slow down long enough to recognize the beauty, and everything in nature is good for my soul.

    2 Weeks Till Due Date
Yes, I’m still alive. Busy with summer, family galore, putting a yard in, more family, preparing for baby, and exhausted from all of the above. Now starting to have contractions, which is a good sign that things will be on they’re way in a week or so.

I’ve been gone pretty much the past 9 months…between being pregnant and moving twice, putting a yard in, and settling in at home and in our new environment/town. Getting use to driving 1 hr to get what i need and even ordering a lot more online. It will be good to be back writing regularly again, and catching up with all of you again.

    Killer Rebound Plan
“Plans in sand, goals in stone” Doesn’t mean i won’t have a plan, but that I’ll go with the flow when if the plan doesn’t work, work around unexpected obstacles, but either way reach my goal. It also doesn’t mean i won’t commit. But that i will be realistic in my commitments to myself, and will not hesitate to re-commit if i get knocked off course.

I heard from a psychologist that using weight in your weight loss goals only reminds you of your current weight.  So, actual verbal goal is. Exercise 5x per week, and eat balance nutritious meals daily.

Daily affirmation: I’m enjoying the energy i have from exercising 5x a week, and I’m loving the health i have from eating nutritious daily.

    Plan
First 6 Weeks-as Dr orders, busy with new baby, and perhaps some light walking to get out of house and keep my legs circulating.
Next 3 Months-When it really begins. Slowly start to do light exercise. So perhaps 5min every day, or 10min 3 days a week for the first week. Then increase based on how my body is taking it. I need to be able to feed the baby so if i increase too suddenly I’ll lose that. So baby steps, along with increased calories. I’ll already need 400 extra to cover feeding. Hydration and quality nutrition will play a huge roll here. Still too much, too fast will still cause a problem. At the end of 3 months be to where I’m working out 5x a weeks for at least 15min.

I’ll share the progress, blunders, what works, what doesn’t, and remotivation during the next 4.5 months or so. Then re-evaluate and set new goals in stone and as always keep my plans in sand.
