In one week I’ll take the final photo’s, give a review of the past 9 months, and give away 2 containers of protein powder. I have connections =) Details soon to come. I may just do one at a time or both together. It will be fun. I’ve never done a giveaway, but i’ve been very lucky and won 2 recently.

Giveaways are awesome! Speaking of which… you won mine! Email me (sagan.morrow@gmail.com) your mailing address and I’ll get your package in the mail
I LOVE apples with peanut butter, such a great energizing snack. And a poached egg on toast is fantastic for some good fuel too.

Hey you’ve gone this far, why not keep it going right? So glad you talked yourself into going to a workout. I have a real good one coming up soon. I have to dump mulch from the back of our pick up into the garden. I rested today because tomorrow will be a hard day of work for me.
Energy – Protein shakes are my favorite, my recipe is pineapple or orange juice, equal amounts of water (1/3 cup), 4 oz vanilla yogurt, banana and pineapple or papaya and pineapple or any combo of fruit you like, protein powder about 25 g of protein. Blend well and slurp!!
Apples with peanut butter–excellent Sagan!
Keep up the great work!

Oooo, another fan of the PB and apples here! I also love PB&J on a slice of toast (or a low-carb tortilla, those things have a TON of fiber). Umm…plain, non-fat Greek-style yogurt with fruit (especially blueberries or strawberries or pineapple). And just about any kind of nut.

Some great ideas here!
PB in shakes is great, but I have to watch the carbs so other than that, I enjoy most berry shakes (blueberries!) or with mangoes. But I try to mix them up a bit, depending on the nutrients needed and who else wants one (beet-shakes aren’t on the top of the list for my 9-year-old lol) with me.
Still, when I have a sweet tooth, this is a favorite shake:
* 1 ripe banana, peeled and diced
* 1 cup of soymilk
* 1 scoop of organic cocoa flavored energy protein
* 1 teaspoon of honey
* 1 teaspoon of almond butter
* 1 – 2 drops of real vanilla extract
* small pinch (less than 1/8 of a teaspoon) of ground nutmeg
* 3 icecubes
As an energy booster, I’ve turned into a big fan of Protein Extreme Energy. Being caffeine-free is a big plus in my book.
Keep up the great work!

Chocolate banana peanut butter protein shakes are one of my favorite healthy energy boosters. I also love bananas with PB, whole wheat crackers with light cheese, and pumpkin seeds.
