I’ve been running around the house like a chicken with her head cut off, except the head is attached and going a million miles an hour.

    “Work Hard, Play Hard”

Time to go play.  I’ve decided to make it a monthly or bi-monthly habit to get out of town on the weekend and go play with my best friend from college.  We are both the most low maintenance non-drama girls around and get along even when everything is going wrong.  We’ve been there for each other when we’ve both needed it the most.  We’ve also gone years without talking and finally found each other again and picked up right where we left off.  She’s really my sister of choice and I’m so lucky to have her as a friend.

Possible activities on the agenda…Swimming, Health Food Store Shopping (we usually clean them out when we go there), gym, late night chatting, making custom jewelry, painting, drawing, service project, hitting the local farmers market, talking, and researching her biz idea.

Either every time i spend time with here i feel like a better person.  We both amplify and edify the best in each other.  It’s one of the healthiest, uplifting relationships, and the one I’m truly blessed to have.

I’m learning that life is short…at least when your not making the most out of very moment, and every relationship.  Leave the past in the past and slow down and enjoy life.  Enjoy being you, enjoy laughing at the funny things, even if your the only one who finds them funny (my mind wanders and i have a strange sense of humor).  Don’t be afraid to true to yourself, your personality, your values, your talents, and walk tall.

Wow, that’s a heavy pep talk i just gave myself.  Definitely optimistic today.  I guess my spark for life is back, and can’t help but share.

Thanks fitness bloggers for all your inspiring posts, and sharing your experiences with me.

    HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

That’s such a lovely idea to get together with your friend regularly for a play date. I’ve got a friend similar to her… those people that you just love and it’s okay if you spend a lot of time apart because at heart you’re really close. They’re the family that we choose!

That’s GREAT you’re going to see your friend so much =) I like the pep talk, it was really good and true and something everyone needs to hear. Life is short! I’ve missed you! I started a new blog with somewhat of a different approach to my goal… I’ve been reading the Success Principles by Jack Canfield and LOVING it. So inspiring =) xoxo
