It helps me to focus on the positive and keep moving forward. I had a great week last week. Yea there were problems, and such…but I’m choosing to see the glass half full, even full, how about overflowing. It’s all in my perspective.

    Last Week:

    I went on a 2 mile walk/jog twice
    I biked 20 min
    I did a 20min Turbo workout
I fell asleep in the sun twice
    I drank a salad
I played with the boys at the park
I bought flax seed for the first time
    I stretched outside
    I ate 10x more veggies
I spent an evening with the family at my Moms

    Tonight:

I’m hitting the gym because I want to do some weight training.

    This weekend:

I’m leaving the boys with dad and visiting my best friend (more like sister). I can’t wait to have some good quality “me time”. Even the 4 hour drive by myself I’m looking forward to. I’ll definitely bring Missy Higgins, KT Tungstall ect…and some healthy on the go snacks Celery Sticks, Cucumber sticks, Peanuts, Dried Fruit, and plenty of water.

    Happy Monday!

Wow, I’m impressed with the veggies! I can rarely make myself eat them. That’s the biggest thing i think I need to work on for maintenance.

The pictures are really impressive! You look great!

Good for you! Falling asleep in the sun sounds lovely. And “me time” is always good to take. Perspective is everything! Have a super week :)

Tara: Honestly that’s where the “drank a salad” part came in. I just don’t enjoy eating veggies and especially in the morning. So i basically blend a salad and down it then have a little fruit and some eggs. I feel so much better when i get my veggies.

Sagan: I will, Thanks! Every time something comes up i just chose to switch perspectives and go with the flow. It’s kind of a no brainier, but some how it’s easy for me to forget that it’s a choice =)

how was the lift last night??

  • Fitness Surfer Says:

MizFit: =) I “wanted” to go to the gym, but my body needed to get to bed by the time we got home. It’s great! I’m just paying attention to what’s actually healthy for me, not the checklist of things that i need to do…You know all about being present. I just got back from a 2 mile jog with the boys. I still “want” to hit the gym, and will make it happen Wednesday. Thanks for asking =)

Great job focusing on the positives! You did really well the workouts and the veggie eating!

Laura Jane: Thanks! It’s so easy for me to slip back and get distracted. By focusing on the positive it will be so much easier to reach my goal.
