My walking group stepped it up to a 4 mile walk and even a trail version of the 4 mile walk. I love it. Man is my boy feeling it. I need to compensate or I’ll stay at the same weight forever because my body will not recover fast enough. So a post work out shake will be in my car. Not just protein but some added Dextros (the most basic form of sugar without the sucralose or fructose that gets help up in your liver).
It’s been rainy the past two days, and turns out that our walking group has been canceled. So i was going to take the kids on a bike ride but one got sick, and today one split his elbow open. Just happy he might not need stitches well see.
I’ve had spring fever lately and can’t stay inside so suddenly two days of rain drives me mad and sad very quickly. I decided to rearrange furniture. Between that and moving at least 13 bags of recycled rubber much into the garage, i got a great workout in.
Speaking of heavy lifting. If i really want to get in shape basic cardio will not do the trick for me. I need weights. Now that i have a pass to a gym i should go enjoy it. I just don’t want to get up extra early do get back in time for…bla bla bla. I’m procrastinating going. Always weird the first time in a new gm with new equipment, and new weird people to ignore. So i commit to going 2 times next week. I’m leaving tomorrow for my little sisters baby shower.
The pool opened last Friday. I tried on my suits and none of them fit right. I ordered a few online hoping one will fit so i can get to the pool soon.
