Walking with some girlfriends this morning a huge Bald Eagle flew over our heads chasing a little bird. Awesome.
Biked by myself for the first time in 10 years. Got 5min in and i was having a severe asthma attack. Forgot to use it or bring it. Cold air, allergies, I’ll plan better tomorrow. Just headed straight home and man were my eyes watering from lack of oxygen. I have 2 weeks to get my bike body back so i can go with my husbands boss and bosses boss on a mountain ride. (he works with a bunch of amazing women).
Focus – I wrote down everything that went into my mouth today. Now i just need to plug it into FitDay.com to see what my daily calories are at. To see my balance of protein, carbs, and fat. Finally to see if I’m getting the nutritional values i need every day from my food as much as possible.
Goal – i was at 90% today but i need to be 100% the rest of the week so i can go out to eat with my mom when she comes to visit this weekend.
Plan – Writing every down with a notebook next to the fridge was easy. Still haven’t figured out how to compensate for extra workouts. Usually not a problem. But I’m constantly invited to go for bike rides, hikes, and we’re thinking about getting a swim pass. So i will need to make sure I’m eating enough of the healthy stuff.
In order to get where i need to be for more surfing and to try out snowboarding. I need to get my weight down to lower my risk of further knee injury. I also need to keep my muscle strength so a healthy balance. I’m at 170 now so I’m just working on getting down to 150 and I’ll go from there. I was 140 back when i was running up to 40mile a week, and i was lean and muscular. So here’s to the next 20lbs. I’m aiming for 5lbs a month. Sooner is fine but right is most important to me.
