Holiday Cookies
Not a nutritional or physical fitness booster, but definitely a financial and mental one. I found everything I needed in my house. I even went thru a bag of M&M’s and picked out the green and red ones. I usually just go and buy a dozed for about $3-$6. This was free, much more fun, and the 3 year old got to help.

5ive Daily Fitness Focus Areas
1. Financial Fitness: Pay off one debt
Less then a minuet after I set this goal my hubby called and said he received a $600 bonus.
I heard someone once say that they only reach 80% of the goals they set. But, they reach 0% of the goals they don’t. Don’t be afraid to set goals.

2. Physical Fitness: Intensity & form
The hubby was gone all Saturday getting ready for final presentations. The weights were in the sleeping baby’s room. I used the resistance bands, bike, a kitchen chair, and got a great workout in. I worked the chest, and triceps, then got a 30 min cardio in on the bike. The bands were surprisingly tough. I need something heavier then the bike to anchor them too.
Yesterday night I used the machines to work the biceps, shoulders, and back. Then I finished up with a 20min cardio. My intensity level was at it’s highest. Barely able to do 15 of each set, but then pushing myself as hard as I can to get 5 more in…shaking on the last few reps.
3. Social Fitness: Smile more
I’ve been smiling a lot more which makes it a lot easier to talk to people. I know that I’m always more egger to talk to some one who’s smiling. I gave a guy a helpful tip at the gym on how one of the machines worked. He laughed when he realized there was a much easier way to adjust the machine.
4. Nutritional Fitness: Don’t skip a meal or skimp on the protein
So far so good, but I just set this goal yesterday. I need to decide what I’m having for dinner and lunch the day before and make sure I make time to prep and eat it. Today I’ll prep a bunch a meals saving me time during the rest of this busy week.
5. Mental Fitness: Attitude of gratitude
I’m grateful for snow. It really is beautiful. I’m also grateful for heating that works, and warm clothes so I can go play in the snow with the kids.

The “smile more” made me smile! I like that one.
Those cookies are so cute. It’s way more fun to make them than to buy them. Except I need to be supervised when I bake hehe.

Me too! These came from a mix. I don’t follow recipes with more then three ingredients very well. I always end up skipping one. Of coarse one of the important ones like salt or sugar.
