Here are some “Funny’s”
MizFit always says “Don’t Panic.” Well, this is “Donut Panic!” and it cracks me up.
This immediately put a grin on my face from ear to ear. Probably because I have a slightly morbid sense of humor. I’ll never eat a jelly doughnut again with out thinking of this t-shirt. Yes, this is a t-shirt. I should buy one and give it away on this blog or just wear it to help others smile.
My hubby bought a “Say No to Scurvy”shirt from them a while back with a orange dressed as a pirate drinking an orange. LOL! I also found “One Cheer For Broccoli” This next shirt reminds me that…
1. Social Fitness: 5 Connect with five people daily…baby steps
Focusing on an attitude of gratitude, and possibly scheduling more time to socialize.
2. Nutritional Fitness: Eat 5 Vegetable or fruits daily
The chicken salad (below) has become my favorite, and I’ll be having stir fry(also below) again tonight.
3. Physical Fitness: Exercise 5 days a week
Had a killer shoulder, bicep, and back workout last night. As usual I did a 5 min warm up and a 20min cardio at the end.
4. Mental Fitness: Set and complete 5 daily goals every day
Today
-make today’s post fun
-dr. apt at 9:10
-find imu. charts
-relax @ lunch
-map out site
5. Financial Fitness: Set side or come up with $500 for San Diego done
Planning ahead for Christmas gifts so I don’t over spend. I’m adding the “Donut Panic” shirt to my Christmas list.
Healthy Easy Throw Together Recipes…

Chicken Apple Salad
Chicken
Mayo (fat free)
Honey (mustard if you don’t like sweet)
Apple diced finely
Cinnamon (optional)
Mix it all together, and add more of something if it’s not just right, and make it yours.
Serve on your favorite vegetables, or serve on your favorite piece of bread if you’re short on carbs for the day.

Chicken Stir Fry
Grilled chicken (with red pepper flakes)
Stir fry medley: Snow Peas, mushrooms, broccoli, red peppers, and onions
Fresh veggies: edamame, bean sprouts, and celery
Brown rice (optional)
Teriyaki low sodium sauce
I grill the chicken first in the same skillet I’ll use for the rest of the meal. Then set it aside and cook up all the veggies with a little teriyaki. If I’m going to use rice I’ll add a little water to make it more saucy. Dice up the chicken and toss it in towards the end and serve. Like anything I cook, I make a huge batch so I have lots of leftovers and so I only have to cook every 3 days or so =)

Hah! That’s a great shirt. You’d probably enjoy the kids’ book “Arnie, the Doughnut” by Laurie Keller. We borrowed a copy from our local library, and it was clever & funny. I like the “Say No to Scurvy” one, too.
(And thanks for visiting my blog and the supportive comments! I appreciate them!

Pugsqal:
Library? I don’t know if we have one of those in our new town yet. That’s a great idea for Christmas gift for the kids. Thanks.
I love you blog and the way you convey your “stunts” or “post-treadmill syndrome.” I have a few bruises form getting in the car too quickly with “post-treadmill syndrome.” They gym still intimidates me a bit, but I’ll eventually try out some of those complicated machines.
I said hi to someone last night at the gym, which is SO out of my norm. They didn’t hear me, which made me laugh. Figures, the first time I try something new, it usually doesn’t work out =-)
MizFit:
Sorry for the lack of focus…what was I going to say again…=-)
It’s a good thing to forget about jelly filled donuts, but for those of us who still occasionally crave them…next time we can think of another friendly donut freaking out because we ate their friend =-)

I love the little donuts! lol! I am going to try your chicken apple salad, yummy. I’m nosy, what’s the map out site goal? Are you starting a website!? I have some website ideas on the back burner too I was thinking of busting out and getting started on =)
I hope your lunch was relaxing!

Honestly I liked the donuts so much I saved them as my desk top. It’s kept me smiling all day.
Not nosy when I’d love to share. I want to make this site a resource center for anything fitness related. So, I just have to decide what pages I want to add and how to make it easy to find things…ect. I have lots of ideas on the back burner. My biggest thing is focus. Right now I want to get this site/blog thriving…then who knows.

I have got to get that scurvy shirt for my dad. He always says he is going to get scurvy when he hasn’t had his 5 a day!

Hangry Pants:
Just another reason to meet my goal and get my daily 5. Lol! My husband gets the funniest looks whenever he wears it…then people eventually get it and laugh.
